Looking out to the world just surrounding a pinpointed journey from theater to airplane to studio to theater, a year behind the eyes of a dancer in constant migration creates a scenographic catologue of spaces for moving in and through. "At Large: The Screensaver" questions the position of dance through the position of a dancer, in the space surrounding an invisible dance. The empty locations are theaters for the imagination, alligning the theatricality of public spaces with the blank templates of theater stages. Acknowledging the power of context, the performer behind the camera plays with the fictionalization and aestheticization of space that form the lenses through which she views the world as a stage. As a screensaver, the photographs perform a virtual narratve of potential narratives in an easily dispursable and randomized slideshow.
