Ada Rajszys
Ada Rajszys was born in Poland in 1974 and graduated in 1994 from Fine Arts in Poland with a specialization in Art & Exhibition. She studied fashion design from 1995-2000 at La Cambre MODE in Brussels. After graduating from La Cambre, she worked as a freelance designer with various Belgian fashion brands including K de Kan, System, Reflets and Fabuleux Marcel de Bruxelles.
Ada is Interested in the various relations between art, fashion, dance, music, technology and movement, she caught the public's attention with her critique on the price of human pleasures with such design projects as the New World Blood Parfum (inspired from the Chanel N°5 bottle), her Ecological Animals Scarfs, and the Burnt Clothes Project. She merged fashion and art in her Hybrid Paintings/Ready-to-wear, presented during The Modo Bruxellae Fashion Designers' Trail at ALICE GALLERY in Brussels. She continues to create unqiue pieces based on recycling old clothes and reconfiguring various accessories and materials in relation to combined fields of interest.
Ada lives and works in Brussels and is open for new collaborations.
